Gerontological Nursing: Transforming aged care
International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world on the 12 May, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth.

The University of Wollongong (UOW) and University of Canberra (UC) are co-hosting a special event for International Nurses Day, celebrating the significant impact of gerontological nurses’ and gerontological nursing research in improving the care of older people, supporting their wellbeing and health.

When: Thursday 12 May, 1.30-3.30PM AEST
Where: This event will be held simultaneously online via a Zoom webinar as well as streamed to venues on UOW’s campuses:
• Wollongong Campus - Room 24.G03
• UOW Bateman’s Bay Campu s– Room G21
• UOW South Western Sydney Campus (Liverpool) – Room 218

As well as the University of Canberra, Room 5C32 Tidbinbilla.

Please indicate when you register which location you will be attending for catering purposes (if attending in person).
